About

Hi! I’m Jess.

Photographer by trade. Marketing grad by choice. Small business fangirl by nature. I cut my teeth in the darkroom back when film was king and Agfa paper was still a thing; these days I shoot mostly digital, but I’ve never lost my obsession with feeling, texture, and the power of an honest image.

I live in a perpetually half-renovated Georgian cottage with my little big family, too many cups of tea and a rooster named John.

I work with small businesses across Australia, you know, the real kind. The ones who employ locals, reinvest in their communities and quietly keep this country running. I get it, because I studied the theory (Bachelor of Business, Marketing) and I live the reality.

I understand what it takes to keep a business going when you’re wearing fourteen hats, watching your margins and trying to make sure next month still works. You’re not just selling a product, you’re holding space for your community, creating local jobs and building something that actually matters. You’re invested and so am I.

What sets small businesses apart is story. You have one. You live it. That story is your edge. It’s what makes someone walk past the soulless multinational and walk into yours. It’s what makes them come back, tell their friends and say “you have to go here.” And that story needs to be seen — not just told.

I’m not here to upsell you on content packages, trending audio, or algorithm hacks. I’m here to take bloody good photos that actually reflect who you are and why you matter to the people who buy from you.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, let’s chat.
